who plays the role of Nupur in Star One's Miley Jab Hum Tum is looking forward to the serious track that lies ahead for her and Mayank (Arjun Bijlani).
Nupur has always been seen as the chirpy and bubbly girl who came to Mumbai from Morena with a dream of becoming an actress one day. However, as Rati nicely puts it, "My sister in the show Gunjan (Sanaya Irani) is living my dream and is an actress now; so I too want to have a future for myself. Viewers will see a different side of Nupur now. She is always there to support her friends and family, but nobody till now has understood what Nupur wants in life. She has never been serious about studies, but now wants to prove to herself that she too has it in her to achieve something".
"Mayank thinks that Nupur's next aim is to get pregnant and extend their family. But he has no inclination whatsoever that Nupur too is working hard to get the scholarship job. As you have already seen, Nupur and Mayank end up in the same interview hall. And the best part is that Nupur in the coming episodes will be given a youth based subject to talk on (smiles). It is a known fact that nobody can beat Nupur when it comes to talking, and when she gets the topic she knows, she will obviously give her best shot", adds Rati.
Rati is happy that she is proceeding towards a track that will bring about the best in her as an individual. "We have had lot many funny tracks in the show, but this one is a very strong track. Nupur has gone thro' lot many hurdles till now, and has come out of it confidently. This time, there are going to be ego problems between her and Mayank. But Nupur is right in her own point of view. She wants to surprise Mayank by doing well in the interview, but does not know that Mayank too is trying for the same", quips Rati.
Ask her whether Nupur will finally manage to get the job, and she says, "Yes, my gut feeling is that Nupur is going to get the job".
